About Me

My name is Randy Addison, master barber and president of Brazenworx, Inc.  As owner of HELMET Hairworx in Atlanta, Ga., I have always had a passion for well-crafted men's haircuts.  My passion in art led me to receive an MFA from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 1990.  A few years later, I finally realized that I could combine my artistic interests with my fascination for barbering.  Last year, we did more than 12,000 men's haircuts at HELMET and even opened a training area in the salon for other professionals: TheLoftTrainingAcademy.com.

Building on the need to document our endeavors at HELMET, I took up photography and have enjoyed learning and employing this art form and artistic tool in our everyday salon culture.

This site represents a culmination and new journey, combining my three primary interests: art, men's grooming, and education.
